Connexus Power Outage: Latest Updates as Crews Respond to Service Disruptions

A power outage affecting customers in the Connexus Energy service area can disrupt homes and businesses, leaving residents waiting for information about the cause of the interruption and when electricity will be restored.

Connexus Energy, based in Ramsey, Minnesota, is a member-owned electric cooperative serving approximately 150,000 members across portions of Anoka, Chisago, Hennepin, Isanti, Mille Lacs, Ramsey, Sherburne, and Washington counties.

At the time of the latest information available, Connexus’s public outage reports did not identify a new major outage for September 25, 2026. Its major-outage report lists September incidents in Wyoming and Big Lake, including a September 14 outage in Wyoming that affected 1,329 members and a September 8 outage in the Big Lake area that affected 735 members. Both incidents were subsequently restored.

For customers currently without electricity, conditions can be highly localized, meaning an individual outage may not appear in a summary of major incidents. Connexus says its outage map provides real-time information, including the number of affected members, when an outage began, and crew status. The information is updated every five minutes.

Customers experiencing an outage can report it through the Connexus website or mobile app. The utility also provides outage notifications by text and email for members who enroll in the service.

For immediate outage or emergency assistance, Connexus lists its 24-hour outage line at 763-323-2660.

Residents should avoid approaching downed power lines and should report dangerous electrical conditions to the utility or emergency services. Restoration times can change as crews inspect equipment and determine the source of an outage.

For the most accurate information about a specific address, customers should check the official Connexus outage information rather than relying solely on social-media reports or third-party outage trackers.
