Francesca (Tirrito) Esposito of Bayonne, New Jersey, is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and longtime member of her community. She passed away peacefully on March 8, 2011, at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey, surrounded by family. She was 85 years old.
Born in San Giovanni Gemini, Sicily, Italy, Francesca came to the United States in 1958 and eventually settled in Bayonne. She dedicated much of her life to her family and was a homemaker. She was also a longtime communicant of St. Vincent DePaul Church in Bayonne, where she was part of the local faith community.
Francesca was remembered for the love she shared with those around her. Her family described her as someone whose presence brought warmth and joy to family gatherings, holidays, and special moments. Her memory continues through the many relatives and loved ones whose lives she touched.
She was survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, sister, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. Her family and friends mourned her passing while celebrating the life and memories she left behind.
Funeral services were held at Migliaccio Funeral Home in Bayonne, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Vincent DePaul Roman Catholic Church. The family requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Francesca's memory to the Deborah Hospital Foundation.
Francesca Esposito's life remains a reminder of the lasting impact that family, faith, kindness, and love can have across generations. Those who knew her continue to remember her with affection and gratitude. May her memory remain a blessing to everyone who loved her.
