Residents searching for information about a power outage in Armidale today are being advised to check the latest information from Essential Energy, the electricity network operator serving regional New South Wales.
A planned power interruption is affecting parts of the wider Armidale region on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, as Essential Energy carries out maintenance on the electricity network. The planned work is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather and conditions permitting.
The affected area includes Uralla, Walcha and surrounding communities, with reports indicating that some residents on the southern side of Armidale may also be affected.
