Customers across Penelec’s service territory in northern and central Pennsylvania may be searching for information about power outages today, September 25, 2026, as reports of electrical service interruptions continue to be monitored across the state.
Penelec is a FirstEnergy electric utility serving approximately 597,000 customers across about 17,600 square miles in northern and central Pennsylvania and western New York.
