In an official press release, investigators stated that the Tesla crossed left of center and collided with the GMC. The impact of the crash was severe, causing both vehicles to veer off the roadway in opposite directions.
“The Tesla traveled left of center, striking the GMC,” the release stated. “The Tesla then traveled off the west side of the roadway and the GMC traveled off the east side of the roadway.”
