The family and community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Casey Lee Webb, a beloved son, brother, and grandson, who passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, at the age of 16.
Casey’s passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, and his memory is being held close by family, friends, and all whose lives he touched during his young life.
Born on September 18, 2009, Casey was the cherished son of Derek and Caryn Brown Webb. From an early age, he was known for his warm heart, adventurous spirit, and deep love for the people closest to him.
Family meant everything to Casey, and he shared strong, meaningful bonds with his parents and his sister, Nyelli Webb, who survives him and will forever carry his memory with her.
Casey had a passion for life and the things that made him feel free. He loved spending time with friends, traveling, and especially working on and driving his BMW, which he took great pride in.
Dirt biking was another activity that brought him joy, offering him a sense of excitement and independence that reflected his energetic personality. Those who rode alongside him remember his enthusiasm and the unmistakable smile that came so naturally to him.
Above all else, Casey was a young man with a generous heart. Friends describe him as loyal, kind, and genuine—someone who could make others feel accepted simply by being himself. His presence brought laughter and light into everyday moments, and his absence is deeply felt by all who knew him.
Casey was preceded in death by his beloved grandfathers, Rick Webb and Jeff A. Brown, who held special places in his life. Their memory, along with Casey’s, remains a source of love and reflection for the family.
In addition to his parents and sister, Casey is survived by his grandmothers, Lucy Webb and Denise Brown, who loved him dearly and will forever treasure the time they shared with their grandson.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home, where family and friends are invited to gather, remember, and celebrate Casey’s life. Cremation will follow the visitation.
In honoring Casey’s memory, the family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a suicide prevention charity of the donor’s choice. This request reflects a desire to turn grief into purpose and to support efforts that help other families facing similar pain.
Though Casey Lee Webb’s life was far too short, his impact was profound. He will be remembered for his love of family, his adventurous spirit, and the kindness he showed to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him, now and always.
