On Wednesday morning, San Ysidro High School in San Diego, California, was placed on lockdown after a serious incident in which a student was attacked inside a classroom, prompting a swift response from law enforcement and school officials.
According to the San Diego Police Department (SDPD), the incident was reported shortly after 9 a.m. when a male student entered a classroom and stabbed a female student multiple times.
