Cora shared her life with her devoted husband of 45 years, Thomas Schroeder, and together they built a family grounded in love, respect, and shared values. She was a proud and nurturing mother to her three children, Emily, Jacob, and Rachel, who were the center of her world. Her children remember her not only as a source of guidance and support, but also as a cheerleader who celebrated their successes and comforted them in their struggles.
Beyond her immediate family, Cora was a beloved grandmother to six grandchildren, who delighted in her warmth, patience, and the many stories she shared. Her home was a place of welcome, laughter, and comfort for family and friends alike.
Cora was also a dedicated community member and professional. She devoted over three decades of her life to teaching at North Fond du Lac Elementary School, touching countless lives with her dedication, encouragement, and unwavering belief in the potential of every student. Former students and colleagues remember her as a mentor, advocate, and friend whose impact extended far beyond the classroom.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Schroeder; her children, Emily Schroeder of Milwaukee, Jacob Schroeder of Madison, and Rachel Schroeder of Green Bay; and her grandchildren, Lily, Owen, Hannah, Benjamin, Grace, and Samuel. She is also survived by her siblings, Margaret and David Klein, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family who held her close to their hearts.
