The Mankato, Minnesota community is mourning the unexpected passing of Mitch Allore, owner of Allore’s Custom Lawn & Landscape. Mitch’s death has left family, friends, colleagues, and clients heartbroken as they remember him for his dedication, hard work, and the positive impact he had on those around him.
Mitch was a lifelong Minnesotan, born and raised in Mankato, where he attended Mankato West Senior High School, graduating in 2007. He went on to further his education at Ridgewater College in 2010 and later at the University of Minnesota Crookston in 2013.
During his time in Crookston, Mitch served as an assistant baseball coach at the University of Minnesota Crookston from May 2013 to May 2014, where he was remembered as a dedicated mentor to his players, inspiring teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
In 2007, Mitch founded Allore’s Custom Lawn & Landscape, a business he built with passion, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. Over the years, he became known in the Mankato community not just as a skilled landscaper but as a trusted business owner who cared deeply about his clients and employees.
His dedication to providing high-quality service and fostering strong community relationships helped his business thrive for over 15 years. In addition to his landscaping business, Mitch also worked as a sales associate at Universal Sports Auctions starting in June 2019, where he was known for his professionalism and approachable personality.
Mitch’s life was not only defined by his work but also by his relationships. He was engaged to Lindsey Rees since October 22, 2016, and was deeply devoted to his family and friends. Those who knew him describe Mitch as a kind, hardworking, and generous individual who always found ways to support others, whether through professional guidance, mentorship, or simple acts of friendship.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mitch had a passion for his community and the people in it. Colleagues, clients, and friends recall his infectious energy, strong work ethic, and the positive influence he had on everyone around him. Whether coaching baseball, managing his business, or assisting in day-to-day challenges, Mitch’s presence left a lasting impression on countless lives.
His passing is a significant loss for Mankato and the broader Minnesota community. As friends, family, and neighbors mourn, they also celebrate the legacy he leaves behind—a life marked by dedication, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to the people and community he loved. Funeral arrangements and memorial services are expected to be announced by his family, who have requested privacy during this difficult time.
